Van der Dussen was a brewer and a member of the Veertigraad.
In 1623, their son Ewouts Jacobs (1574-1653) built the large house Overvoorde (photo below) on the land in Rijswijk about 4 miles (6 km) north of Delft purchased in 1559 by his grandfather (and Antony's great great-grandfather) Jan Jacobs Hogenhouck.
