Aeltje Sebastiaans van den Berch

Johan's money and de Bel, the family home -- D0399, D0400 now Koornmarkt 72 -- were inherited by Johan and Jacob's sister Aeltje, Antony's great-aunt. She lived in de Bel after her brother Johan died in 1644.

She bequeathed 83,200 g, including the assets that Antony's mother lived on and Antony and his sisters inherited 5,000 g of in 1664. In that year, while he was still a cloth merchant married to Barbara de Meij, Antony recieved a third share of a sixteenth of this 83,200 g, that is, about 1,700 g.
