cousin Pieter Abrahams Hogenhouck purchased house on Koornmarkt

Great-grandmother Neeltje's nephew Abraham's son Pieter Abrahams Hogenhouck (-1679) purchased Koornmarkt 43A. It had been owned by Adriaen Cornelisz van Rijck, a brandy distiller (brandewijnbrander) and was listed as a brewery named Beugel. When Pieter, by then a member of the Veertigraad, sold it in 1651, it was listed as a malt house and storehouse (mouterij and pakhuizen) and called the Keizerskroon.
