Appointed curator of estate of Catherine Bolnes, Vermeer's widow

Appointed by Delft's magistrates as curator of estate and assets of Catherine Bolnes, widow of Johannes Vermeer.

They granted him a mandement van cessie, an order to summon creditors to relinquish all goods for the benefit of the creditors.

The Lord Magistrates of the city of Delft have appointed Anthonij Leeuwenhouck as Curator of the estate and assets of Catharina Bolnes widow of the late Johannes Vermeer in his life master painter, obtaining a mandate of cessation that he retains etc passed on September 30, 1676
