Adrian Metius' Manuale arithmeticae & geometrice practicae published in 1633 by Henrick Laurentz in Amsterdam. This textbook for surveyors, reprinted in 1646, may well have been one Leeuwenhoek used to prepare for his surveyor's exam.
In Letter 28 of April 25, 1679, Leeuwenhoek referenced this book when he calculated his comparison between the number of sperm in a cod's milt and the number of humans on earth:
For measuring the surface of a globe METIUS says: 7 yields 22: which yields the square of the axis.
