Gerbrand Schagen: printer, collector, and publisher on the Klaverstraat in Amsterdam.
Paulus Aertsz van Ravesteyn (1586-1655): Printer and publisher in Amsterdam after 1609, for most of that time on the corner of the Kloverniersburgwal and the St. Anthoniesbreestraat. From 1636 to 1646, he was also active in Leiden, where he printed the first Statenbijbel (Dutch Authorized Version of the Bible) in 1636. After his death in 1655, his widow continued the business, and the printing of Bibles, until 1662. The Bible pictured below (click to enlarge) was printed in 1660.
His son Nicolaes (1613-1672) and nephew Johannes (1618-1681) were also printers/publishers in Amsterdam.
