Jan (Johannes) Reijniers Vermeer married Catharina Bolnes

Jan (Johannes) Reijniers Vermeer (1632-1675) and Catharina Bolnes registered their betrothal at the Stadhuis. They were both living on the Markt. They probably married two weeks later, as was most common, though the marginal note in the betrothal record is not clear. It mentions an attestatie (certificate) from Schipluiden on April 20. Perhaps they married there, a village a little less than 5 km (3 miles) to the southwest of Delft.
