Robert Hooke produced the two letters of 1680-06-14 from Leeuwenhoek at a meeting of the Royal Society

These letters had been sent to Gale and the cover letter to Hooke. In August, Leeuwenhoek sent another letter inquiring whether these June letters had been received.
