The beginning or young plant from a buckwheat that has been separated from its flour-like substance in which it has lain, and from whose leaves I have, as far as I was able, straightened out the bends (which the same had when it lay in its flour-like substance).

Het beginsel off jonge plant uijt een boekweijt die van sijn meelagtige Stoffe, daer die ingelegen heeft is gesepareert, welckers bladeren bij mij, soo veel mij doenlijk was, vande bogten (die deselve heeft gehadt doen hij in sijn meelagtige Stoffe lagh) sijn ontdaen.
